Holocom’s Technical Services Division, in conjunction with our worldwide partnership network, provides tailored, customer support for Holocom PDS. This support comprises design, installation, training, and quality control. Technical Services assists customers in system design to ensure best practices, an accurate bill of materials (BOM) and labor requirements, and the full realization of cost savings.
Holocom PDS installation support consists of four customized options:
Option 1. Office Estimate: Services personnel can design the Holocom PDS parts list in order to meet the customer's and/or end user's requirements. Holocom provides this option at no charge to the customer. Service products provided are:
A. An estimated list of material (PDS only and/or network components)
B. A redline pathway schematic of the recommended PDS solution overlaid on a building layout. An AutoCAD drawing file of the building layout is preferred. If an AutoCAD file is not available, an Adobe PDF of the building layout is a minimum requirement.
C. The estimated number of man hours to complete the PDS installation, and lay-in, terminate, and test of network cable.
Option 2. Office Estimate with Site Survey Refinement: Option 2 encompasses all of Option 1 with the addition of a site survey to refine the estimate. Unless the site location is within 50 miles of a Holocom Technical Services employee, the customer will pay for travel expenses and labor hours incurred while traveling to the site and performing the specific survey. At the conclusion of the survey, a refined estimate will be provided based on survey discoveries.
Option 3. Option 1 and 2 plus Project Management: Option 3 encompasses everything in Option 1 and/or 2, and includes on site project management/supervision to ensure that Holocom PDS is properly installed. This can include the Holocom employee installing the PDS, or being in a training/supervisory capacity. Post construction As Built redline pathway schematics can be provided as required.
Option 4. Turnkey Installation: Holocom Technical Services Division personnel can complete an entire installation of the PDS to include lay-in, terminate, and test of network cable.
